Dear All,
Wishing you all a very happy New Year (though belated). It was a pleasure to participate and watch the New Year celebrations in our complex.
The music was good and am sure participants enjoyed dancing. The bursting of crackers welcoming the new year was icing on the cake.
A serious thought occured and was thinking of the consequences of bursting crackers near the building especially the rockets. We all know what happened in Tarangan building during Diwali. Had such a thing happened in our society, who will be made accountable for the act ? Can we as members of a society allow such risky activities wherein members of one wing (in this case Royale A-WING)face the risk of damage to lives/health and property ? Can we risk turning a New year (or Diwali)CELEBRATIONS INTO A NIGHTMARE for even one member of our society ?
Do we have the necessary and adequate insurance cover (including liability cover)and quick response team to tackle such event and to make good the loss if any ?
Similar risks are applicable to the swimming pool/ lifts etc where a person may get drowned / stranded and collapse in a matter of few minutes.
You may please note that these are my thought process and request you to seriously ponder along these lines in an unbiased manner. You may also note that i do not reside in Royal A wing.
Will be happy to hear your views in this regard.
Regards
